Jeffrey William Blanchard

He was born on March 8, 1952, in Washington, D.C. to the late Albert and Emily (Smith) Blanchard.

Jeff was a retired U.S. Court Clerk who worked in Washington, D.C. and Fairfax County.

Predeceased by his parents: Albert and Emily Blanchard; one sister, Shirley Jean “Jeanne” Blanchard and one brother, Albert “Al” Blanchard, Jr.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sharon Lane Blanchard; one brother, Gary Blanchard and his wife Nancy; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Highway, Fredericksburg, VA at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fredericksburg, VA.
