He was born on March 9, 1956, in Fredericksburg, VA, son of the late Robert Brown and Mattie Brown (Clemons). He had a profound love for hunting and fishing, activities that brought him peace and joy. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family, creating memories that will last a lifetime
He preceded in death by his parents, Robert Brown and Mattie Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jane S. Brown; sons, James W. Brown and W. Matthew Brown; daughters, Amanda K. Brown, Ashley K. Kinney, and Virginia L. Brown; brothers, Kenneth W. Brown, Ronald Brown, Troy Brown, and Danny Brown; sisters, Judy Brown, Sharon Greenawalt, Margaret Brown, and Debbie Sisk. There are numerous grandchildren and great grandchild, Nash Brown.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA, with a funeral service to follow.
