Joanne Lenore Blue

Joann Lenore Blue, 65 of Spotsylvania passed away on April 23, 2020. She was born Chester, Pennsylvania to Harold and Clara Edna Schultz Estelle. Joanne lived her life for her grandchildren. There was no greater joy in her world. They brought her pure happiness and she wanted nothing more than to spend every waking moment with them. If she could tell us all one thing it would be "hug your babies tight because tomorrow is never promised" She is survived by her partner, Carl Poston; four children, John Harold Blue, Yancy Blue, Hadley Blue, and Joni Blue; God daughter, Christina Blue; nine grandchildren, John Trevor Blue, Gavin Reid Verhagen, Devin Lee Verhagen, Kylie Ann Verhagen, Sarahi Elizabeth Blue, Catherine Amalia Blue, Johnny Kevin Blue, Skye Pack, and Lee Blue; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Christina Lynne Shifflette; and brother, John Carl Shifflette. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Lee Blue A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service.
