We are sending our condolences with a great poem that’s helped my family and I. Losing a loved one will never be easy but remembering those happy times full of laughter and smiles can help. Even remembering things like his funniest moment you may remember. Never forget those happy moments and keep them close to your heart for all eternity. We love you and you will all be in our prayers.

Prayers & Lots of Love,

MICHAEL DILLARD

July 11, 2018

So sorry for the loss of Johnny ("Hey Jim, how you gonna act?") Merryman. We were neighbors along with Powell and his family, including William and their mother. Had some good times with Johnny and William. It was usually Johnny, William, Billy Jackson (my cousin) and me that hung around together. We lost contact after I joined the USAF but I saw both of them a couple of times after I returned to Spotsylvania after many years. May God give comfort to the grieving family and friends and may Johnny RIP. Mike Dillard.
