Joseph Roland Gagnon, 81 of Fredericksburg VA, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Greenfields Assisted Living. He was formerly a resident of Willingboro from 1964-2009. He was a US Marine Corps veteran and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Leonette; six children, Roland Gagnon of Northfield, Claire Ward and Denise Andrews both of Chesapeake, VA, Jeannine Cox of Locust Grove, VA, Richard Gagnon of Bethlehem, PA, and Pauline Pinero of Clarkesville, VA; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Lucille Wood of Fall River, MA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, VA from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
