She is survived by her loving husband George; son George Charles Jr.; daughter, Lisa Garwood and husband, Mark; five grandchildren, Tiffany Glassford , Brandee Holsten, Tyler Garwood and George McKinley Charles; and nine great grandchildren, Harlynn Finney, Bentlee Charles, Gracelynn Shartzer, Weston Glassford, Julian Holsten and Colton Glassford.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel from 6-8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the funeral home at 1:00 pm, with interment to follow in Berea Baptist Church Cemetery.
