She is survived by her sons, Ronald W. Rankins Jr. (Kimberly) and Franklin W. Rankins Sr. both of Bowling Green, Virginia and several brothers and sister.
Katherine will also be greatly missed by her three grandchildren, Ginger Rankins, Franklin Rankins Jr., and Jonathon Rankins Sr. (Jessica); and two great grandchildren, Jonathan Rankins Jr. and Jase Rankins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin Smith and Mary Rose Morris.
Katherine loved talking with friends and family. She enjoyed Facebooking, fishing, watching Judge Judy and Roseanne. She loved eating homemade scalloped potatoes and green bean casserole and absolutely loved her Pepsi!
A graveside service will be held for Katherine at 2:00pm on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg, VA.
