Kathleen Payne Colvin

She was born 30 April 1927 to the late Ashby and Ruby Kent Jones Payne at the homeof her grandfather, William Lee Kent in the Todd's Tavern area of the county.

She is survived by two daughters and a son, Doris (Gary) Gregory, Dale Trigg, and Donald Colvin.In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, William Colvin and his siblings and their spouses: Merval (Melvin) Herndon, Edgar (Jessie) Colvin, Garland (Margaret) Colvin, and Dorothy (George) Thompson

She was also preceded in death by her own siblings and their spouses: Elton (Lucille) Jones, Orene (Dessi) Harding, Ralph Tatum Jones, Edward (Evelyn) Payne, as well as grandson, Daniel Gregory, and son-in-law, Milton Trigg.

In addition to her children, she is survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins too numerous to mention who are left to cherish her memory.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to their favorite church or charity.

A private graveside committal at Sunset Memorial Gardens to be held Monday, February 1, 2021.
