Dear Robertson and Dubac Families,  We extend our deepest sympathy to you.  We met Kelli while working at quest and became great friends. We enjoyed having Kelli, Michael, and Madelyn over for our dinner gatherings and bar-b-q's and to watch football.  Our girls, Saoirse and Zelia absolutely loved playing with Maddie. Kelli was a witty,  funny, and kind woman. It was such a pleasure knowing her.  May you all find comfort in your memories of her as we will.  Love to you all.

I met Kelli on the lls forum and as she fought so did my husband and we encouraged each other to fight and hope.  I never met her in person but I cry for her passing.  She was sweet and kind and a fighter above all.  My deepest sympathy goes to her family.  I hope to honor her memory by passing on the kindness and strength she showed me and to others.

Dear Robertson and Dubac Families, I am so sorry for your loss of Kelli.  I lost my baby boy Kevin, at 3 1/2 years old in 1998. My heart breaks for you. I am also The Compassionate Friends Fredericksburg Chapter Leader which is a self help support group for all bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents who have lost a child. I knew her as "Hokie" from the LLS forums.  She was a special spirit in the midst of us, helping those who were going through less than she as if she wasn't sick at all.  I will miss her.  We all will.

I met Kelli (Hokie) on the LLS chat boards.  She was a ray of sunshine and helped so many others even though she was going through pure hell.  I will miss her insightful opinions and good advice on our ugly disease.  Her family meant the world to her and her life was an inspiration.

In life, there are people you meet who are just good people.  Kelli was such a person.  I consider myself fortunate to have been able to meet and know her (and her family) for the brief period of time.  If you didn't know what was going on in her life, you would not know the pain and frustration by talking to her.  She had the best attitude toward life and her situation I have ever known. I wish she could have stuck around with the world a bit longer. My family and I wish to pass our condolences and prayers on to her friends and family.

I cannot put into words how sorry I am for your loss - Kelli was a wonderful sweet faithful young lady and I will always remember her sweet smile and her perseverance through her battle with Leukemia. I thought of you often, never knowing you were ill. I thought about you dancing with your fourth grade class at the end of the school year.  I thought about you chasing Katie around the yard. I thought about you in college and watching for your car to return home when Virginia tech was going through a crisis.  I thought about you telling me you found a job in your field. I thought about you getting married and having children. But, mostly I thought about how kind you were and always took a moment to stop and talk before going into the house or driving away... I'll always remember you.
