LaJune Lundquist

LaJune Lundquist, age 76, of Fredericksburg, Virginia passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at home peacefully in her sleep. She was born on November 24, 1946, in San Francisco, California, the daughter of the late Claud and Nellie Brown. Her family meant the world to her. Her love for family was borne out of a deep desire to serve her Savior, and she always hoped her words and deeds would in some way point those she loved toward the loving grace and mercy of the one who gave His life to save her. She took every moment offered to her to read, teach, play games like Rook, sew and craft, and correspond with dear friends and family. Her hobbies were only made sweeter when they involved her family - especially her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Rod Lundquist; sons, James Lundquist (Rebekah), Scott Lundquist, and Mark Lundquist; daughter, Lisa Kanak (Shaun); 25 grandchildren, 3 great-granddaughters; and her younger sister, Patricia Teeters. She was preceded in death by her older brother, Michael Brown. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm.
