Laura Faye Little

Faye was born on May 30, 1923, in Statesville, North Carolina, daughter of the late James Blain Stikeleather and Metta Morrison Stikeleather. She is predeceased by her husband Curtis Eugene Little, her daughter Sylvia Faye Bush and by four brothers, Archie Stikeleather, Holton Stikeleather, James Blain Stikeleather, Jr. and David Stikeleather and three sisters, Doris McNelly, Dorothy Murph, and Rachel Ellis.

She is survived by her daughters, Joanne Nelligan (John) of Shady Side, Md. and Donna Little of Fredericksburg, Va.; four grandchildren Bryan Little (Caite), Joseph Nelligan, Jennette Nelligan (Hernando) and Mary-Anne Nelligan and five great grandchildren.

Faye grew up on a large farm and worked the land with her siblings to help provide for the family. She played basketball and enjoyed bowling. She loved quilting with the Church Quilting Bee. She worked over 20 years as a Cafeteria Manager for the Prince William school system.

A graveside service for Faye will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA 22172.
