

Born in Charlottesville, VA to the late Raymond and Ruby Sprouse. He grew up in Washington, DC. He graduated from Chamberlain High School in Washington, DC then joined the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne Division as a Paratrooper. He served his country from 1962 - 1966. During his time in the Army he was stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC and served in Operation Power Pack in the Dominican Republic. He retired from the Washington Gas Company after 38 years of service and made many friends during his time there.
He is survived by his loving wife, Josephine Sprouse. Children, daughter, Valerie Sprouse, son, Michael Sprouse, Angela Hall (Joseph Sr.), Kenny Luker (Andera), Timothy Luker, and James Luker. Grandchildren, Faith Sprouse, Joseph Hall, Jr., Brooke Hall, Kayla Hall, Aliyah Luker, Kiyah Luker, Sylas Luker, Mila Luker, Timothy Luker Jr., and Christian Luker. Great grandchildren, Joe Joe Hall, Kayley Hall, and Hunter Hall. Also hIs cherished friend and brother Mike Gray.
Paige loved spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, hunting (especially in West Virginia), fishing, planting his vegetable gardens, watching old westerns, and had a big heart for children and animals. He could always be counted on to help anyone in need. He went through his extended illness with such grace and always had a smile for everyone.
He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Sprouse, granddaughter, Krista Miller, brother Cecil Sprouse, and sister, Joan Hurd.
