You have my deepest condolences. I have such fond memories of Leslie. She could truly light up a room with her smile and fun loving spirit!

Condolences to the family. Just a shocking and devastating loss. Our designated photographer will be missed by so many and in so many ways.

My memory of leslie is how the very first time we met she was no stranger to me although I did not know who she was! lol! She was so friendly and personable and could sing karaoke!! My favorite was when she sang Harper valley PTA... just Bc I liked it! I knew then, I wished I had a slither of her spunk, confidence and happiness so I could keep up! Ends up we were like opposites  when it came to people skills but she Always stayed my friend even when I’d tell her she did not have to deal with all my quirks that makes no sense and that always makes me late!  I miss her everyday as I selfishly know my life here in va will never be the same.  She understood me and knew there was good coming out of me even on my toughest days! She knew we could trust each other and make plans together as far as 10-20 years out!! We took for granted that no days are really promised. If I viewed everyday was a gift, I would have made it clearer to her how much I loved and admired  her! If I knew we were so time limited, I would have made plans for a girls beach week!! To Jim, and Leslie’s daughters and son Joe and sisters my sincere condolences to you and all your family! Thank you for sharing such a good, happy, kind and amazing love!! I know from various conversations throughout the years how very much she loved you all and how proud she was of each and every one of you! Leslie has been taken way too early so I can only think that our Heavenly Father has big plans for her and at this moment I can only think how I just want my friend back but I can also hear her tell me ‘Jenn, you’re going to be fine, when you get here you’re going to dance and sing!! Fly high and sing your fun songs, I know you’re not any kind of wall flower up there, in fact I’m sure you’ve made friends with EVERYONE up there  by now!! Send me signs leslie, preferably dimes!!LOL I Love you my friend and until I see you again, I will miss you too! I will try to keep up our collection of nats shirts/jerseys... xoxo

Doc and family so sorry for you're lost she was so special she treated everyone with kindness. She was the most giving and thoughtful friend.  I WILL MISS HER.  GOD BLESS HER.  WE KNOW SHE IS IN HEAVEN.

Dear Doc, Family and  friends.  My heart and prayers go out to all of you.  Leslie was such a beautiful caring person all around.  The wonderful video tribute captures only a very small fraction of those poetic "butterfly memories" Leslie's life touched in all of us.  Her laughter, song, kindness, and genuine love for life,  will be ingrained in our memories forever.  She truly was a spectacular person whose spirit shined bright wherever she went.    God bless Leslie and all of you during this difficult time.

You and your family have our deepest condolences and prayers. Leslie was such a sweetheart. We shared some great memories together from Karokee to Saint Baldericks Fundraiser at Paddy's. She even played on our softball team when I was short a player. She will be forever loved and missed... The Bennetts!

It was probably Helen and Paddys 2nd or 3rd Christmas party at Rooney’s that we decided to bring a special gift.  Leslie brought her children who were young at the time.  They drew our numbered prize and to their surprise we had wrapped up a live lobster in a box.  It was great moment.  She laughed so hard.  She later told us one of her children named it before they got home.  However, she said they had to steam it up and all enjoyed it that night.  We still laughed years later about it.  She had such a beautiful sense of humor and smile.  She will be missed by my wife and I.  Rest In Peace Leslie.  

We met Doc and Leslie Efird Rolita way back in the day probably 30 years ago or about.  The gang of girls navigate their way through an Irish Pub called Rooneys (Leslie, Joanne, Arlene, Sandy, Helen, Rose, Kathy, just to name a few and many more).  We participated in a lot of fun trips, Halloween’s, Red and Pink hatters club, Women’s overnight sleepover at the Cranky Yankee, Poker run, and many charitable events.  With Colonel Helen in charge we became more than friends but were family.  Leslie was one of the most kind hearted women I’ve ever met.  Always having a beautiful smile and kind words to share.  I truly loved her spirit and beauty and kindness of heart.  I put out a shout for help with Toys for Tots and she didn’t hesitate and continued it year after year beyond what I did.  St. Baldricks I can’t even begin to explain her contribution which was beyond whatever I ever contributed with head shavings year-after-year, and all of the hours she contributed.  I truly loved her and will miss her.  As I write this with tears streaming down my face, I look up to Heaven and say, “get ready Lord you have a good one coming your way!” God Bless Doc and the children. When Leslie walked into Paddy's, I immediately wanted to go over and say hello.  The first time I met her there was 2015. I was new to the place and she made me feel like one of the regulars.  Her warm smile and manor is already missed.  

You and Helen were the first friends I made here in Stafford 9 years ago.. You were so strong and caring.  Always had a smile and kind word. You loved with all your heart. I will miss sharing my birthday week with you as well as sitting up all night sharing our thoughts and feelings about our families.  My heart and prayers are with your kids and Doc.
Rest in eternal peace my dear friend. You will be forever missed. 

Leslie was such a free spirit and always smiling! We were born a day apart and celebrated our birthdays together for over 20 years. My heart goes out to Doc and the kids.  Leslie (Big Sis), you will truly be missed!  I will always cherish our memories. ❤️🌹

My sincerest condolences to Doc and the family.  What a terrible loss, always smiling, never had a bad word to say towards anyone. Always contributing to St Baldricks by raising donations and shaving her head for childhood cancer year after year. Friends for so many years, my thoughts and prayers for your tragic loss 😪

We are so very shocked and saddened by this news. We always had such fond memories of Leslie. Her lovely smile and her laughter are such a wonderful part of the many things we recall. May all the precious memories you hold close bring you comfort.
