Linda Dawn McAdams

Linda was born in Oroville, CA, on August 29th, 1954 to Calvert Lee and Jan Lu Crow. She attended Marysville High School, graduating in 1972. She served in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corp from 1974 to 1976 as a Personnel Clerk, reporting to the 7th AG Company, 7th Infantry Division, Fort Ord, CA. After her Army service, she would go on to serve in the Federal Government as a Contracting Officer. Throughout her career she worked for the Army Corp of Engineers, Department of Defense, Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security. In total, Linda spent more than forty years in service to our country.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Calvert T. Lee Jr.

Linda is survived by her two children, Tracy Jean Dillard (Rory) and Jason Matthew Stanhope. She also leaves behind a sister, Peggy (Lee) Caldwell (Twigg), brother, David Lee and both of her former spouses, Charles Alan Stanhope and James John McAdams. Linda had eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

At the time of her passing, Linda was surrounded by many that loved her, including both of her children, a number of grandchildren and first husband.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service. A memorial service is being planned for the near future but no details are available yet.
