Maria "Mary" de Jesus Soto

Today we honor, Maria De Jesus Soto or Mary (as she preferred), age 52, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was born on July 15, 1970 in Tepatitlan, Mexico. Daughter of Jesus Soto and Cleotilde Camarena Soto. Mary, really enjoyed doing Calligraphy (her handwriting was the most perfect handwriting anyone can have), she loved to draw, sketch fashion, she loved music…all types and all kinds of music, she loved to dance, she loved to listen to anyone’s stories for hours on end, she loved to show everyone pictures she saved on her phone, of all of her family and loved ones. Mary loved her cat Reign! Mary was the biggest cheerleader, cheering on her kids when they had an idea, a job they were looking for. Mary cheered on her co workers at work, she would cheer even a stranger. She saw the good in people, in everyone. Mary would be happy at any place anytime, putting anything she was going through aside. Mary is survived by her daughters: Ivette Berrios, (Son in Law) Carlos, Lizeth Rea, Suzette Rea. Mother: Cleotilde, brothers Abel Soto, Michael Soto, Johnny Soto, Rudy Soto and James Soto. Her grandchildren are Aryanna, Kassandra, Angela and Carlos Jr.. Mary was preceded in death by her father Jesus Soto. YOU WALK WITH US FOREVER A visitation for Maria will be held on Friday, February 24th, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg Va, 22401. A burial will occur Saturday, February 25th, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery, 1902 William Street, Fredericksburg, Va 22401.
