She was born on December 22, 1927 in Worchester, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Edgar and Ethel (Johnson) Harris.
Her husband, Harry Strickland, preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Paul A. Strickland; daughters, Jacqueline Strickland and Diana L. Simpler and husband James; granddaughter, Ella Simpler; and many wonderful friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm, Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, VA. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
