I am so sorry about Melinda's passing. She was far too young and too happy with loving and nurturing your twins to depart at this juncture. Her face lit up and her eyes danced whenever she talked about you and them. I first met her as her Latin teacher at Stafford High School but already was friends with Annette. What a DELIGHT she was as a student, always prepared and very reliable for homework and correct answers when called on. She seldom volunteered--I found her to be a bit reserved but always smiling and cooperative. We stayed in touch through Annette and email or cards when you were born and definitely when your twins came along. What a joy they were to her. She was so excited to travel to Germany to be with you all. She endured so much tragedy in her life but always kept her serenity and smile throughout life as a proud, loving grandmother. I grieve the loss of her physical presence but know she is spiritually serving as an angel in Heaven now just as she did on Earth. I will always remember her. She will live through our memories forever!

My wonderful mother was the most proud of being a Grammy. She always wanted and needed to know how her “ babies” were doing. She looked forward to her weekly video chats and the random rambling phone calls about what was happening on “Paw Patrol “ or with Pepper Pig. She was so happy to be Lilly and Preston’s Gammy. They are going to miss her. We are going to miss her.
