He was born on December 20, 1953 in Craven Co., NC the son of the late Harry L. and Mary Ellen (Cropper) Dodson.
Mike is survived by his two children Michelle Tillery and Michael L Dodson Jr., brother David Dodson and sister Anne Marie Schneller and six grandchildren.
He grow up in Alexandria, Va and spent most of his adult life in Fredericksburg. He was a retired City Superintendent Inspector. He had a love for flowers and flowers are welcome at the service.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg with Rev.John Hodgen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg, VA.
