

He was born in Cook County, Illinois, on July 2, 1961, and spent much of his life in Stafford, where he raised his family and built many memories.
Michael served honorably in the United States Army for three years before beginning a career with the United States Postal Service, from which he retired after 35 years. He was a passionate sports fan, with an unwavering loyalty to the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears. He found great joy in celebrating Christmas, especially through his love for decorating and creating magical moments with his wife, Diane, and their children.
Michael will be remembered for his caring, loyal, and generous nature. He was always there to support his family and friends. His kindness and dedication to his loved ones left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Diane Munro Eppers; his children, Matt Eppers, Robert Eppers, Sarah Eppers, Allison Stover, and Katelyn Newbill; and his precious grandchildren, Jeffrey Bailey, Audrey Snow, and Logan Snow. He is also survived by his siblings, Cliff Eppers, Karen Journey, Kelly Lemke, and Lisa Zenzola, who will miss him dearly.
Michael’s family will hold a private ceremony to honor his life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you cherish your own family moments and hold those close to you.
