Michael Paul Hinson

He is survived by his parents, John and Cindy Hinson, his second parents, Billy and Becky Collier, his "third mom" Donna League;  his 'wife' Michelle Alexander; his son, Michael Paul Hinson, his daughter, Trinity Leeann Hinson, his 'stepchildren', Sierra Alexander (Cooper), and Trinity Hensel (Jorge); his grandson Jackson Franks, his brothers, Joe Hinson, Timmy Hinson, and Hudson Collier (Ashley); his sisters, Tammy Hinson, Angela Hernandez, Nicole Pinzon (Ricardo), and Elizabeth Robbins, Family Brothers and Sisters, Furbabies, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews, Nieces and Friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John David Hinson; and cousins, Wesley "Bubba" Musselman, David Bell, and Lori Jean Holmes.

Michael (Mike) was a loving, giving, caring man who would help anyone in any and every way he possibly could. He enjoyed tinkering with things, working with his hands, and figuring out how something worked, usually while jamming to music. He thrived in doing those things and being given a challenge.

He was a "Jack of All Trades" and knew so much about so many different things. "Mike can fix it" was often said.

Mike's survival skills were unparalleled. His quick wit was unmatched, often leaving you in belly laughter. He was a daredevil, adventurous, and all about having as much fun as he could.

His Sarabi, cannabis, cracking jokes, and fishing were his happy place.

In keeping with his love for helping, Mike ended his life's journey being an organ donor. He has already saved the lives of five people, potentially helping many more in the future.

The world will not be a better place without him.

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 1:00-3:00pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will open the floor to friends and family to share memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held on his birthday, March 21, 2027. Details will be shared at a later time.
