Nancy Moore Grady

She was born on May 21, 1931, in Richmond, Virginia, the daughter of the late Benjamin Moore and Dolla Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John Whitfield, Grady, Jr.; and her siblings, Edwin Moore, Dorothy Loraine, Fred Moore, Dora Katherine, Zeffie Bell, and Benjamin Moore.

She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Matthias and Jill Bergeron and husband Jay; her grandchildren, Jason Bergeron, Jessica Whitlock and husband Chris, Joseph Matthias, and Stephen Matthias; her great-grandchild, Raylen Whitlock; and her godson, Keith Moore and wife Alda.

The family will receive friends on May 12, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Highway, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.

A funeral service will be held on May 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at River of Life Church, 7408 Patriot Highway, Spotsylvania, VA 22551.

Burial will take place on May 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, VA 23150.
