

Naoma Gay Stone Mullins, 87 passed away on Monday August 9, 2021 at Fauquier Hospital. She was born in Asco, West Virginia on February 17, 1934 to the late Johnny Bee and Liza Justice Mitchem. During her career, she worked for Kodak Film Processing, Melpar Inc, and the hotel industry, and was co- owner of Stone Construction.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Stone and Ricky Stone and wife, Shari; two grandchildren, Fawn Bordeaux and husband, Jason and Shawn Stone and four great grandchildren, J.T. Bordeaux and Autumn Bordeaux, Shawn Stone II, and Liam Stone. Many nieces and nephews. A very special niece/daughter Rhonda Brennan. She loved all her family and friends very dearly.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Donald Stone and John Mullins; granddaughter, Crystal Stone; and five siblings, Gilbert Mitchem wife, Daisy, Randolph Mitchem and wife, Helen, Armond Mitchem, Ed Mitchem and wife, Irene “Bug”, and Vera Mitchem Church and husband Johnny.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Shawn Stone, Jason Bordeaux, JT Bordeaux, Kevin Donald, Brian Stone, Adrian Loper, David Stone, Josh Stone . Bob Loper will be officiating the service.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
