Nathaniel Scott Schofield

Nathaniel Scott Schofield, 32, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2025, as the result of a single-vehicle motor accident. His sudden passing leaves a deep and painful hole in the lives of all who knew him.

He was the proud owner and operator of Interior Exterior Services LLC, where he dedicated his efforts and talents to his work and customers.

Nate was a proud father who loved his two children fiercely. He is survived by his mother, Donya McDonald; two children, Donovin Schofield and Gabriella Schofield. He also leaves behind two brothers, Kevin Coates and Taylor Schofield. Uncle Keith Schofield, who was more like a father to Nate. And a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family who loved him so much and will miss him more than words can say.

He lived life his way. He loved hunting and fishing, riding dirtbikes and motorcycles, working on cars, and being outdoors. If it had an engine or a challenge, he was all in. Nathaniel valued loyalty, brotherhood, and time spent with the people who mattered most.

Nathaniel will be remembered as a strong man with a big heart, a rough edge, and a loyal soul. Though his time here was far too short, his impact was real, and his memory will live on through his children and the many lives he touched.
