Otis Ray Broadus

Otis Ray Broadus entered into eternal rest on May 29, 2024, at Mary Washington Hospital. He was born on June 30, 1963, in Wilmington, Delaware, as one of the seven children to late Berline Broadus Sr. and Elizabeth Woolen-Broadus.

Otis was a loving father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a person with an open heart, always willing to help, and he was truly loved by his family and friends. Known for his lively spirit, he was often the life of the party.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Tamika Hilliard of North Carolina; two sisters, Joyce Smith of Culpeper, Virginia, and Darlene Woolen-Wood (Michael) of Landover, Maryland; three brothers, James (Jimmy) Broadus of Charlottesville, Virginia, Steven (Steve) Broadus (Kathryn) of Locust Grove, Virginia, and Michael Broadus of King George, Virginia; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service for Otis will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401.
