

She was born on August 27, 1957, in Lexington, Virginia, daughter of Roller W. Conner and Martha S. Martin. She spent her childhood in Lexington, then later lived in Mechanicsville, Saluda, and finally Bowling Green where she graduated from Bowling Green Senior High School. Pamela worked for Mary Washington Hospital for thirty years in a number of departments, meeting many good friends and building relationships along the way. In her free time you would find her crafting, making baskets, bunnies, blankets, and bracelets for her family and friends. She also made little hats and booties for babies in the NICU. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren, traveling wherever she needed to be for those visits.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her sisters Lisa and Karen, and her brother Jimmy.
She is survived by her children, Stephanie Thacker and her fiancé Rob, Kevin Thacker and his wife Cija, Laura Lincoln and her husband Jeff, and Corey James and his partner Savannah, her grandchildren Alyson, Tyler, Meghan, Matthew, William, Owen and Emma, her sisters Debbie, Donna, and Sandy, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of a funeral, the family will be hosting a Celebration of Life in remembrance of Pam on Sunday, September 28, at Ni River Reservoir from 1 PM to 4 PM. All who wish to honor her memory are invited to attend at any time during those hours.
