

Patricia Ann Ragland was born on March 21, 1955 of her parents Richard Augustus White and Rose Anna White (Gyetvay) on (Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland) and passed away from pancreatic cancer on January 28, 2024 at the age of 68. Patricia was surrounded by love here when she joined her family in heaven. Professionally, Patricia was a paralegal who worked with her son and husband, and invested over 40 years helping clients of their law firms. Patricia spent the final 36 years of her life living in Louisa County, Virginia and enjoyed watching and participating in sports and raising her children and grandchildren in the serene setting she was proud to call home. Patricia’s supreme passion was taekwondo, and she spent 27 years on and off with both her children, her grandchildren and her husband, working and training towards her black belt degree which she proudly earned on December 15, 2023 just shortly after starting chemotherapy treatment and two weeks after her initial diagnoses. Patricia is survived by her Husband Walter, her three children, Sharon Ragland, Bryan Ragland and James Ragland, and her four grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Desiree, Audrey and her extended family, as well as her taekwondo family at Master YJ Kim’s Martial Arts Center.
A visitation for Patricia will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401. A graveside service will occur Friday, February 2, 2024 at 12:00 PM at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042. All are welcome to either or both.
