Patricia Ann Simpson

She was born on November 23, 1942, in Washington, D.C. to the late Harry and Thelma (Smith) Leep.

She was predeceased by her husband: Kenneth "LP" Simpson, of Kill Devil Hills, NC; her stepson: William "Billy" Simpson and stepdaughter: Catherine "Ann" Baber.

Patricia Simpson had a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. She loved the beach and collecting sea glass. She was a long time Washington Redskins fan.

Her love, laughter and smile will be forever missed.   She spent many wonderful years spreading joy to others and family is certain her light continues to shine bright through the stars above.  She enjoyed hosting many family and friend gatherings, built around pig pickings' and crab feasts, making memories to last a lifetime.   

Survivors include her son-in-law: Brad Baber, Sr.; grandson: Brad Baber, Jr. (Jennifer); granddaughter: Catherine Erdos (Jimmy); six great grandchildren: Tyler Baber, Zachary Erdos, Logan Baber, Angelica Erdos, Madison Baber and Jacob Erdos.

All services will be private, and the family will be celebrating Patricia’s life fulfilling by her final wishes to be cremated and placed at sea.
