He is survived by his mother, Margery Leapley; four siblings, Michael Leapley, David Leapley, Karen Bruder, and Peggy Yauss; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his partner, Lawrence Mutschler; father, William Leapley Sr.; and two brothers, William Leapley Jr. and Steven Leapley.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
