Obituary of Paul Stanward Maloney
In loving memory of Paul Stanward Maloney (Tall Paul, P. Diddy) Sunrise May 18, 1975 to sunset June 24, 2022 Paul Stanward Maloney was born on May 18, 1975 to Phyllis Tucker and Stanley Maloney at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital & Medical Center. Paul grew up in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York in Ocean Village. He later moved to Brooklyn and attended Beach Channel High School. He worked at Brinks Armored Security as an armed guard. Paul loved music, especially old school R & B, 80’s classic rock, and 90’s hip-hop. He also loved sports, basketball, baseball, and cycling. Paul was a great cook, funny comedian, and a known prankster. He loved watching movies on the big screen, especially the Predator movies…they were his favorite. He loved dogs (Fitz), and turtles. Anyone who met Paul knew he loved his family and his children more than anything. He leaves behind his loving children, Kodi Witty, Nikko Maloney, Phoenix Maloney, Denver Maloney; siblings Yolanda Maloney, Erica Brady, Sheila Brady, Promise Hubbert, Akeem Elijah, Gary (Zack) Lawton; beloved nieces and nephews; and a whole host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Paul is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Maloney and his mother, Phyllis Suggs. Paul loved to keep busy and stay active. His children have memories of him taking them to parks, museums, and restaurants. While working for TSA, he was a member of the baseball team. He loved to cook and grill. He loved to laugh, crack jokes, and create silly nicknames for people. Paul kept his circle small and was dependable, reliable, very neat, and liked order. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. While living is Stafford, Virginia, Paul began to develop his relationship with God. Written down on a few different papers was Corinthians 2 5:17 which states “Therefore is any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new”. Paul will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through stories and memories he has left with his friends and family.
