Peter Donald Colvin

Peter Donald Colvin, age 72, of Brimley, Michigan passed away Friday, May 1, 2021 at the Henry Ford Hospital. He was born on July 15, 1948 in Wisconsin the son of the late Robert M. and Ruth (Ives) Colvin. He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 from the U.S. Coast Guard serving from 1966 - 1988. Peter had many passions, one being the great outdoors where he lived after retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and the cold that upper Michigan brings. He was a devoted husband and father and a good friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruby R. Colvin; one daughter, Jennifer Jacob (Robert) of Fredericksburg, VA; one son, Michael Colvin (Stephanie) of Fredericksburg, VA; three brothers, Brian Colvin, James Colvin, Bruce Colvin; one sister, Marcia Sidwell; three grandchildren, Felix Colvin, Christopher Jacob, Rozlyn Jacob. Graveside services will be held 11:00am Monday, May 10, 2021 at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA 22172.
