Our hearts go out to Phillip's Mom, and the rest of his family and friends. May all of the wonderful memories you have of him ease the grief that you are going through now. We have brought our cars in for repair for the past 28-30 years and you will never find a more honest, fair and knowledgeable mechanic than Phillip, and of course his dad Stan as well. We enjoyed hearing the stories about going out on their boat fishing, tubing and having family picnics.
Phillip and his dad are the reason why our 24 year old 350,000 mile car is still on the road today. Quite a tribute to their repair skills. They say only the good die young, and that is so very true in this case. You were taken from everyone far to soon, and you will be very deeply missed for quite some time to come. May God comfort the entire Arnold family and lift you up in spirit at this very sad time.

With love and prayers from Bob and Emma Holman

I am so saddened to hear that Phil has passed from time to eternity. Not only have I lost a great mechanic, but a great friend as well. My heart is aching as I share this heartbreaking loss with his Mom, family and friends. I will miss Phil so much, he was such a good guy. My family and I moved to Stafford in 2000 and shortly thereafter Stan's Repair was referred to us for all our automotive needs. Ever since then we could always rely on Stan and Phil to take care of our cars and always be there for us when we needed them. Phil was such a kind and gentle soul. He was always smiling, even when he was overwhelmed and things weren't going well. My favorite and lasting memory of Phil is when he went with me one Saturday morning in early 2016 to Springfield to buy my daughter a used car. I knew that I could trust him to help me get the most car for my money, as I knew that he was always fair and honest. We looked at a few cars that were not up to par and overpriced, and Phil said "no" to 4 cars before saying "yes" to the right one. I will always remember Phil for being awesome that day and many days thereafter. My prayers and condolences are extended to the entire Arnold family at this time of profound loss. I sincerely hope that Phil is resting in heaven from all his labors here on earth. God bless you all.

Phil was one of the kindest, most giving dependable and honest men I've ever known. He(and his dad) have repaired my cars for 25 years, not once did they fail to provide great service at a reasonable cost. More importantly as I grew to know Phil better , we became friends. He taught my grandson a lot about properly taking care of his first car; my grandaughter loved to take him brownies and cookies.
He always greeted you with a smile and a warm welcome. My family and I will miss him. My family will miss him and our condolences go out to his mother, children and all those who cared for him.

To the family and friends of Phillip,
Phil (as I knew him) and I worked together way back when at Powell's Automotive Parts and Supplies in Falmouth. He was a great guy to be around and could always make me laugh. He was an awesome mechanic and was always honest and fair. Back in those days not an hour went by without him talking about his kids, Elaine, Michael and Katie. You could just tell that they were the most important thing in his life. To lose Phil at only 56 is simply a tragedy. I had not had much contact with him for the last 15 years or so but still thought of him often. I know he will be missed by a lot of people. He seemed to know just about everyone. My sympathy to all of the family and to his many friends.
