Phyllis enjoyed her work at the University of Mary Washington. She loved & enjoyed the relationships she developed with the students at UMW. Phyllis loved her yearly summer visits to Ocean City with family and friends! She also enjoyed her Sunday Bingo outings.
She is survived by her loving daughter Stephanie Macalino Deane her husband Michael and grandsons Ryan and Matthew Deane of Stafford VA. Her devoted sister Doris (Dee) Roppo of Fredericksburg VA, her nieces Linda Lam and Kelly Collins of Fredricksburg VA, Doris Lockhart of Blacksburg VA and nephew Frank Gayle of Woodbridge VA.
Grandma MAC will be dearly missed by Ashley & Megan Lam, Kiersten Collins of Fredericksburg VA. Also missed by many close family, friends and her devoted cat Tabitha.
Family will receive visitors at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel on Sunday, March 27, 2011 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm with services at 7:30 pm. Private Inurnment will be held at Quantico National Cemetery.
