Ramona Wilma Davis

Ramona Wilma Davis was born on November 15, 1962, to the late Willie Lee Fulton and Estella Floretta Fulton in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ramona departed this life peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

Ramona attended high school at Edward W. Bok Technical High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she not only received her diploma, but also received her cosmetology license, and her license to teach cosmetology. She had a love for creating hairstyles and taught many women how to maintain the health of their hair. She would often give a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear to anyone who needed it throughout the years. Ramona took great pride in her work and touched the lives of many women. Ramona also worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Marriott hotel and worked for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency for more than eighteen years.

Ramona loved the Lord with all of her heart and always shared the love of Christ with everyone she met. She had a heart for people, many times offering prays and biblical advice, showing how God’s word is works in any situation. In 1988, Ramona joined Full Gospel Word & Worship Center in Sumter, SC where she faithfully served. After many years in the Carolinas, Ramona moved back to her hometown of Philadelphia, and returned to her roots at the Philippian Baptist Church where she also remained a faithful servant. In later years, Ramona moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she severed at Dale City Christian Church and answered the calling that God had put on her life. She attended International Seminary School and she became an ordained minister of the gospel. Later she became a member of New Restoration World-Wide Ministry. She was the epitome of the scripture, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might…”

Ramona was a praying mother to two children, Ramon and Amos. She loved them with all of her heart. Her prayers will continue to work in her children and grandchildren, and the legacy she leaves behind will live on through them and through all of those lives she touched.

Ramona Wilma Davis leaves to cherish her legacy of love to: her children, Ramon Davis and Amos Davis of Fredericksburg, Virginia; her sister, Deelya F. Fulton; three grandchildren, La Landra K. Jones-Gonzalez (Irvin), Shakur N. W. Foster-Davis, and Shakwuana L. Davis-Foster, and a host of other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

A visitation for Ramona will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dale City Christian Church, 14022 Lindendale Road, Woodbridge, VA 22193. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
