Raymond Carl Manning, 79 of Fredericksburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at his residence. He was a retired US Marine Corps Master Sergeant serving in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War and retired after 20 years of service as magistrate in Fredericksburg.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Wilson and husband, Glenn of Richlands, NC; three sons, Mark Manning, and wife Donna of Lexington, KY, and Matthew and Daniel Manning both of Fredericksburg; and two grandchildren, Melissa and Christopher Manning.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Crystal Kenemen Manning.
A service will be held at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel today at 12:00 PM, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Internment will be in Quantico National Cemetery on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
