Rebecca Lynn Cortese, 36 of Spotsylvania passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016. She was a Spotsylvania High school graduate and a member of Travelers Rest Baptist Church. She worked as a health caretaker and past employee of Spotsylvania High School.
She is survived by her husband, Jon; son Cody Kroeger; parents, Gillis and Janie Wampler; two sisters, Robin Humphrey and husband Brian and Roben Faye
Frazier; two brothers, Raymond Ash Jr. and wife Darlene and Rodney Ash and wife Jennifer; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Mullins and Thompson Fredericksburg Chapel. A funeral service will be held at Travelers Rest Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 1:00 pm, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
