Born on March 4, 1955, to Robert (Bob) and Jean Dyer, Rebecca (Becky) grew up in Ventura County, California and graduated from Santa Paula High School. Throughout her life, she resided in various parts of California, including San Luis Obispo, Los Osos, Templeton, Atascadero, and Santa Barbara, before eventually settling in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Ryan (wife Angela), her three grandchildren, Aidan, Austin, and Adalynn, as well as her three siblings and numerous nieces and nephews
