He worked for IBM and FedEx during his lifetime. Richard enlisted in the United States Marine Corpse and received a medical discharge.
Richard is survived by his Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bill Brinkman, his brother, Andrew and sister-in-law, Terri Kline; his daughter, Ashley Jenkins; and his four grandchildren; Julia, Michael, Ceara, and Gracelynn Jenkins; his niece Ashley Pacheco; his two nephews, Tyler and Kyle Kline; four great nieces and nephews, and 6 cousins.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 am on September 11, 2021 at Encounter Church of God, 12240 5 Mile Rd. Fredericksburg, Va. 22407
