Richard A Zimmerman

Richard Adam Zimmerman, 73, passed away on Sunday, November 8th, 2020. He leaves behind his wife Carrie, daughter Kelly, sons Greg and Chris, and grandchildren Jaina and soon-to-be-born Alaric. He was born to parents Ferdinand and Dorothy, on December 27, 1946, in North Tonawanda, New York, and grew alongside his younger sister Marianne. Richard graduated from Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York. He had a career in routing products for Wonder Bread and other food companies. Richard had a love for football and baseball, his favorite teams being the New York Jets, New York Mets, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, whose emblemed clothing he often wore. He also enjoyed landscaping and decorating the lawn, as well as collecting statutes and memorabilia. His favorite musical artist was Elvis Presley, which he played while on the road and while at home. He had a love for politics, which he had instilled in our family, and was also a devout Roman Catholic. He will be dearly missed.
