He is survived by his loving wife, Clara; three daughters, Melissa Padgett and husband, Jeff, Stephanie George and husband, Danny, and Dana Sullivan; four grandchildren, Olivia, Daniel, Nathan, and Elizabeth; and one brother, Alex Mullins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Martha Mullins; sister, Helen Mullins; three brothers, James, Joe, and Benny Mullins; and son in law, Shane Sullivan.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Susan Crane for caring for Rickey.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel at 3:00 pm, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Mary Washington Home Health or Mary Washington Hospice.
