Ruby L Stafford

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jerry Wayne Stafford; children, Robin Stafford (Russ), Jerry Wayne Stafford, Jr. (Lynn), and April Stafford (Scott); six grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica, Justin, Lauren, Will, and Alex; seven great-grandchildren, Breanna, JJ, Xavier, Ty, Noah, Donte, and Ellie; three siblings, Jimmy Manuel, Mable Green, and Brenda Jay; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruby was the supportive wife of a United States Marine and a dedicated federal government employee, retiring as supervisor of the Marine Corps Exchange audit department on Quantico Marine Corps Base after 30 years of service.

A loving woman with no greater joy than her family and friends, Ruby will be remembered for her wry humor and ability to brighten anyone’s day.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service at 1621 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, Virginia. A service for Ruby will take place Wednesday, October 20, at 11:30 a.m. at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service and will be followed by her burial at Quantico National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
