Dead Daddy,
Today marks 5 years when you were taken from the boys and I as our dad... Words can't describe my feelings right now, they're mixed with saddness, regret, and anger! Saddness is because i miss you so much and i never imagined my life without a dad! Nobody in this whole world could or ever will replace you! I cant imagine my wedding without you walking me down the aisle! It all still feels like a dream to me! Regret is because i wish i would have hung out with you more, i wish i would have hugged you more, taken more pictures with and of you, and most of all i wish i would have said "i love you" more than what i did! To be honest, i dont remember my last memory with you, when it was, what the last thing was that we did, or even if i hugged you and said i loved you, or if i was mad at you! Anger is because, i expected more from the Rusk family, i expected ALOT more from them than what we got. WE should have gotten all of your clothing, WE should have gotten all of your money, WE should have gotten your truck along with your wallet, hats, jackets, shoes, EVERYTHING! WE should have gotten first dibs. Everyone else, lost their brother, their best friend, their son, their husband, WE lost our dad! You were a huge part in our lives! I should have things to show my children what their grandpa was like, what he wore, etc. But instead, we only got what THEY wanted us to have instead of us getting to choose. Your truck got sold WITHOUT asking, most of your clothes got thrown away without us being allowed to have a say, and worst of all we have yet to get a call, a text, a visit, a gift, a bday present or card, a "im sorry that today is the 5 years that your dad has been dead, is there anything i can do for you" text, NOTHING from anyone in your family, not your sibblings, mom, dad, step-mother, friends! You would be so disappointed dad. I know life would be alot better if you were here... I love you so much daddy,  i wish you were here, miss ya a ton

Happy Valentine's day to the World's Greatest Dad!! I miss you more than words can say... :'( I still remember all those Valentine's day's that you'd bring me hand cut pink roses, in a heart shape container with a teddy bear❤, You never forgot the teddy bear! The Daddy daughter dates/dances you never missed...  Even though alot is fading from my memory of you, i will always remember how special you made valentine's day for me :)... i still want you to just show up at our door one day for one last memorable hug and kiss goodbye... I really miss you dad... I wish you had a phone in heaven, that i could just text you how my day was, and you could make my day even better! I miss going mudding in your truck, that i still imagine myself driving one day... There's still times that i look up and think i see your truck, but then realize its not.... I cherish all our moments we've had, since the boys were one and two years old.  Bringing me in and always having my back...your seriously a great. Please look over the kids!

Sam, you will always be in our hearts. Knowing you for 9 years was my privilege. You stepped up when you needed to raise your little family and I have always admired you for that. Taken too soon. Love you.

There are no words to express our sorrow for your loss.  Sam was and will live on in our hearts as a respectful, caring and enthusiastic young man with a love for life and his family.  His love for mechanics, trucking and learning new things showed in all he did.  Sam was held in the highest regard by his co-workers and by many others with whom he worked in our industry.  You could not have a bad day with his infectious smile!  Sam will truly be missed, but never forgotten.

I haven't worked with Sam as long as other's here but in the time I have been here he has been such a pleasure to be around.  He was always quiet when I saw him in the shop, just busy working, but I always made a point to speak and make him smile.  He was always so polite and kind.  I know the guys in the shop really loved him and say he was a funny guy and a great guy to work with. Sam - you will be truly missed and you were such a blessing to us all!

I didn't know Sam for very long but I can say at times he made me laugh and sometimes he made me mad but one thing is for sure - he was a great person.  I am going to miss working beside him and hanging out here at work.  I will be missing you man.

Sam was a friend in deed!  He helped me on the side to work on cars.  There is a tv show called "Green Acre's" where I gave Sam the nickname "Sam Drucker".  Sam would just laugh.  I will truly miss you my friend.

I can truly say that if you were one of the people that Sam touched with who he was, you can say he will always be with you.  Sam reminded me of Shrek in some ways and I can't help but smile because Sam had layers to who he was.  He was a true friend, a hard worker that never stopped, a father who loved his children.  I got to see the little boy in him when he wanted a Dreamsicle I had in the fridge here at work.  He was a son who loved his mother dearly.  You will be with us always Sam - I will always smile when I think of you.

Sam was a good friend and a very good person.  He would do anything for anybody. He was a hard worker and always wanted to learn things.  Sam and I had some good times riding around in his truck.  I will truly miss him.

Sam was a hard worker.  Anything you asked him to do, he never asked any questions, he went and did it 100%.  I'm going to miss you Bro!

In the short time that I got to know you and spend with you, you showed how much of an Angel you are! You were always so willing to help others in thier time of need. You shared so much about you and your life. You were not only a friend, a great father, but you were also a part of our family. As it gets closer to the day of saying our final good bye it is becoming more real. I am sad to have lost such a good friend but am happy that I got to meet an Angel.  This will not be good bye this will be until we meet again.  You will remain in my thoughts and prayers and I know you will be another Angel looking after my family. We will always be here to help and look out for your children and family. Rest easy my dear friend and know that you will never be forgotten!

I will miss you my brother you were the greatest person anyone could hope to know the day I met him he helped me with my car and very short time after that when me and my wife had no place to live he not only let me move in he helped me move towing my suv and all my possessions in the middle of a snow storm he was a great father who loved his kids and made sure everyone knew. I will miss you forever this world is a darker place without you. I can't believe you gone trucking forever I wish I could be there in you're passenger seat going on whatever the next adventure whatever it may be. Sam you came into the family by your brother marrying my sister but you were still family. You loved your kids and you being a good person. When I heard Monday what happened I couldn't believe it I still can't believe you are gone . You are going to be dearly missed by a lot of people who love you,  you will have a lot of help from a lot of people in heaven.

Sam was my neighbor. He was the kindess father and a most patient person. He loved his boys dearly. He always took time to explain to the kids.
I baked cookies for the boys and Sam knocked on my door and thanked me personally. Just don't meet people like Sam everyday, I will miss him and pray Gods blessing on the family.
