Shirley Townsend Duncan
January 21, 1932 – April 12, 2025
IN THE CARE OF
Shirley Townsend Duncan, 93 of Fredericksburg passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
She retired after 34 years from the Virginia Employment Commission.
She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Clarence; son, Edwin Duncan (Teresa); and three grandsons, Jimmy (Jennifer), Dusty and Danny and two great grandchildren, Dalton and Adalyn.
She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Duncan.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in Sunset Memorial Gardens at 10AM .
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Fredericksburg SPCA or to St. Jude Children‘s Research Hospital.
