He was born on March 4, 1953 in Fauquier County, Virginia to the late Nelson Dovell and Ann Mae (Perry) Wright.
Predeceased by his parents and seven siblings: Darlene, Della, Jimmy, Jr., Geraldine, Irene and Joyce.
Survivors include his sisters: Shirley Suthard and Donna Craig and husband Leonard.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, VA.
