Stanley Alan Hays, 78 of Fredericksburg, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. He was born in Yankton, South Dakota to the late, Rex and Gertrude Hays. He was a retired school principal for the Department of Defense Education Activity Department, in Okinawa, Japan.
He is survived by his wife, Misako Kaneshiro- Hays; two daughters, Heather Johnson, and Jacqueline Tavarez; brother, Darrell Hays; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Emmel.
