Susan Marie Brown Burrus

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal" In loving memory of Susan Marie Brown Burrus. Susan was born June 19, 1963, in Memorial Hospital at Gulfport, Mississippi, and passed away April 15, 2024, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She was a loving and kind wife, mother, and person. She would help anyone in need. Susan loved spending time with her family and going on family vacations. Some of her favorite vacations were to Oregon, Mississippi, and Hawaii. Susan graduated from Long Beach High School, Long Beach, MS. After high school, she graduated from Jeff Davis Community College with a degree in Medical Administrative Assistance & Phlebotomy. She worked for Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, VA, before joining her husband in building the family business, Burrus Roofing & Construction. Susan will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Susan was preceded in death by her father, Robert Brown; mother, Audrey Baudier Brown; siblings, Marie Nance, William Brown, Teresa Hisaw, Edward Brown; and sister in law Sarah Brown. Leaving behind all her loved ones, husband, Kevin Burrus; children, Daniel Burrus, Felicia Moreno, and Derek Burrus; grandchildren, Jaidyn Morrett, Darrell Watkins, Manuel Moreno and Kincaid Moreno; siblings, Thomas Brown, John Brown and wife Judy, and Angela Tehson and wife Diane, brother-in-law Warren Nance.
