Susan Elaine Pethel-Kelley

The loving wife and best friend of Joseph Kelley, devoted mother of Wesley Weber and his wife Lacey (Ralph, AL), and proud, doting grandmother of Cash and Stella Weber, passed away at her home in Stafford, Virginia on the evening of October 13, 2015. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jo Pethel, and survived by her father William Pethel, brothers Greg, Gary and Tim and sister Joanna Little. Susan was a professional, dedicated, compassionate, energetic, and well respected Special Needs Teacher who served her students in the public school systems for 33 years in Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Susan earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Alabama and was a lifelong “BAMA GIRL”. She was a spirited, determined, charitable, kind, fun loving person who loved her family, friends, students, music and deeply cared about people. She will be missed, but never forgotten. ROLL TIDE!
