Tami Louis Van Hoy

Tami J. Louis Van Hoy, 60, of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away on Monday, June 9th, 2025, at Mary Washington Hospital. Born on January 27, 1965, Tami was the beloved daughter of the late William Louis and Sheryl Louis Karels.

A devoted wife and mother, Tami dedicated her life to her family, raising her two sons, Kyle and Shane Van Hoy. She was also an accomplished Real Estate Title Examiner, and supported the family small business, Dynamic Designs.

She was a 1983 graduate of Courtland High School. Tami found joy in playing pool, relaxing at the beach, and showcasing her keen eye for interior design. Her vibrant personality and warm spirit meant she was a light in every room she entered. She was cherished by her many friends who will deeply miss her infectious laughter and unwavering kindness.

Tami is survived by her loving husband, William "Billy" Van Hoy; her sons, Kyle Van Hoy and Shane Van Hoy; her brother, Michael Louis; her nephew, Cole Louis; her brother in law, John Van Hoy; and her niece, Tori Saadatmand. She also leaves behind several cherished cousins, aunts, and uncles, and a wide circle of close friends that she considered to be her extended family.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 22nd at 3pm at the Beehive Event Center and Library.
