Teresa de Jesus Benitez

With heavy hearts and unwavering faith in God's promises, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Teresa de Jesus Benitez, who peacefully entered the presence of the Lord on July 8th, 2026 at the age of 71.

Born on August 27, 1954 in El Salvador, Teresa lived a life devoted to Christ, her family, and serving others. She was a woman of unwavering faith whose love for God guided every aspect of her life. Through her kindness, compassion, and steadfast commitment to the work of the Lord, she touched countless lives and left an enduring legacy of faith, perseverance, and selfless service.

She faithfully dedicated herself to ministry, always willing to give of herself to help others. Many families and children were blessed through her ministry, where she shared God's love with generosity, wisdom, and an open heart. Her life was a testimony of what it means to serve faithfully, love unconditionally, and trust in God's plan through every season.

Above all, she treasured her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved. Her gentle spirit, encouraging words, and constant prayers were a source of strength and comfort to everyone blessed to know her.

She is survived by her children, Sonia, Carolina, Sandra, Lourdes, Laura, Brenda, Yessica, and Jovani; her siblings, Reina, Manuel, and Maria Santos. Along with her 16 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mercedes Ventura y Maria Benitez. Her siblings, Lorenza, Margarita, Sinforosa, and Cresencio.

Although our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice knowing that she is now free from pain and resting in the eternal presence of her Savior. As it says in 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Her race was run with grace, courage, and unwavering devotion to the Lord.

Her legacy will continue to live on in every life she touched, every prayer she offered, and every heart she led closer to Christ. Though she will be deeply missed, we find peace in knowing that one day we will be reunited in the presence of our Lord.

En Amorosa Memoria de Teresa de Jesús Benítez

Con profundo pesar, pero con una fe inquebrantable en las promesas de Dios, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra amada madre, abuela, hermana y amiga, Teresa de Jesús Benítez, quien partió en paz a la presencia del Señor el 8 de julio de 2026, a la edad de 71 años.

Nacida el 27 de agosto de 1954 en El Salvador, Teresa vivió una vida dedicada a Cristo, a su familia y al servicio de los demás. Fue una mujer de fe inquebrantable, cuyo amor por Dios guiaba cada aspecto de su vida. A través de su bondad, compasión y firme compromiso con la obra del Señor, tocó innumerables vidas y dejó un legado eterno de fe, perseverancia y servicio desinteresado.

Se dedicó fielmente al ministerio, siempre dispuesta a entregarse para ayudar a los demás. Muchas familias y niños fueron bendecidos a través de su ministerio, donde compartió el amor de Dios con generosidad, sabiduría y un corazón dispuesto. Su vida fue un testimonio de lo que significa servir con fidelidad, amar incondicionalmente y confiar en el plan de Dios en cada etapa de la vida.

Por encima de todo, atesoró profundamente a su familia. Fue una madre, abuela y bisabuela amorosa, cuya mayor alegría era compartir tiempo con sus seres queridos. Su espíritu apacible, sus palabras de aliento y sus constantes oraciones fueron una fuente de fortaleza y consuelo para todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Le sobreviven sus hijos, Sonia, Carolina, Sandra, Lourdes, Laura, Brenda, Yessica y Jovani; sus hermanos, Reina, Manuel y María Santos; así como sus 16 nietos y 8 bisnietos.

Fue precedida en la eternidad por sus padres, Mercedes Ventura y María Benítez, y por sus hermanos, Lorenza, Margarita, Sinforosa y Cresencio.

Aunque nuestros corazones lloran su ausencia, nos llena de consuelo saber que ahora está libre de todo sufrimiento y descansa en la presencia eterna de su Salvador. Como dice 2 Timoteo 4:7:

"He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe."

Su carrera fue vivida con gracia, valentía y una devoción inquebrantable al Señor.

Su legado seguirá vivo en cada vida que tocó, en cada oración que elevó y en cada corazón que acercó a Cristo. Aunque la extrañaremos profundamente, encontramos paz al saber que un día nos reuniremos nuevamente en la presencia de nuestro Señor.

"Bien, buen siervo y fiel; sobre poco has sido fiel, sobre mucho te pondré; entra en el gozo de tu Señor." — Mateo 25:23
