It's been four months since u left this earth, I miss u every day cannot stop crying thinking about , I wanted more mother and daughter time. LOVE U FOREVER......

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye and we pray that memories will bring you comfort and peace during this time.  Your family has been a special blessing and I am grateful that my children and I had the fortune to have Auntie (and Poppop!!) in our lives. Whether it be trips to Busch Gardens, shows at the Riverside Dinner Theatre, dressing up and celebrating Valentine's Day at Golden Corral (matching dresses for the girls courtesy of Auntie!),  trips to get ice cream at Costco, or learning to swim in the pool with Auntie's help, the kids have so many wonderful memories. Not only did Theresa look after the kids, she looked after me too!! I am grateful for her friendship, advice and her kind smile.

Our beloved Theresa.  Our hearts are broken that our time with you here is done.  So unfair.  When we first met in front of my house the conversation lasted 4 hours until  we set the sun in the sky and Arnold was driving around looking for you (23yrs ago). From then on I knew that I had a true blue friend. Through thick & thin, good times & bad we made it through. When tradgedy struck my family, you stepped up, showed up and lifted my heart of a heavy burden. You were always there for me unconditionally  I knew, mostly because you ended every phone conversation with " I'm always here for you Kathryn, love you." When I lost  my own adored mother there was No one  in F'burg I  would have trusted with our young child but you. You really have raised generations of kids in more than 30yrs of safety & care your business provided. We all know it was a labor of love and your life's calling. Those of us touched are grateful.  We will remember all the talks, the food, occasional drink, outings and laughter.  SO MUCH LAUGHTER! Therasa had a very quick wit and could bring us to our knees with a well timed quip. I sought her advice many times on topics from the mundane to serious. She was far wiser than she was sometimes given credit for and her special brand of Bronx wisdom pulled no punches. If Theresa was in your corner you had a mighty ally. She never forgot our daughter's bday or many other milestones be they happy or sad. Theresa was a GIVER. Of her heart, mind, time, money whatever required. Her friends & above all her family, know this.  Moving forward without her will be hard. Who will remind Brian that his hair has thinned every time she sees him even if it was just a 1/2 hour ago? Who will tell our daughter she has a gift/hug waiting so come over? Who will tell me I was supposed to be born an Irish Catholic girl? No one. Because there is and always will be only ONE THERESA ANN CURRAN GOLDEN. Sun has set again, this time we carry you in our hearts forever. We Love you.

Mrs. Golden never meet a stranger.  It could be years between seeing her but it always felt the same. She had so much love for people. Every time  she saw me she would always be so encouraging.  Rest easy Mrs.Golden.  You left a wonderful legacy with your family.

Teresa will always be Mrs. Golden to me, even at 48 I can not bring myself to call her by her first name.  She was the mother of my very first friend in Fredericksburg, Bridey.  When she first met my mom after a middle school dance she introduced herself with the understanding Bridey would come to my house for a sleepover. Immediately following her introduction she informed us that if we harmed her daughter she would kill us.  And that was the beginning of my fascination and admiration of Mrs. Golden.  Her home was my favorite place to be during those years.  There were always socks needing to be matched, a pot of sauce that required stirring, she would put you to work when you came over.  She loved fiercely and she never hid her true feelings on any subject, ever.  Have you ever watched a woman with a leg cast mow the grass while simultaneously herding 15 toddlers?  Wonders never ceased at the Golden residence.  All these years later I still have her phone number memorized, I called that house so many times she told me on more than a few occasions to cut it out.   In a world where I felt invisible most days Mrs. Golden never failed to see me and to know me, truly.  These days whenever the topic of Italian American food arises with anyone I always manage to work Teresa Golden into the storyline, weaving some of my priceless memories in with her baked lasagnas and zitis. She was a legend, truly the stuff leading characters in movies are made of.  Thank you for the love and laughter you have given me over the years Golden Family.  My heart aches over your loss, there was no one ever like Teresa.  But know this one thing, she truly is only a memory recall away and no one can tell a good story like a Golden!  How I would have loved to sit beside you and recall some of my favorites of your mom and wife.  There will never be anyone else like her, she was one in a billion.

Theresa was so entertaining and attentive to Chuck and I. We cherished her friendship and learned how important it is to tell your friends that the relationships you build do last a lifetime and beyond. Her memory brings an everlasting smile to our faces and a happiness to our hearts.

You were a great person and loving grandma. I’m honored to say i have grown up with you as one of my role models. Not everyone is lucky enough to have experienced as much as you have in your life, and find your life partner. I hope i am able to find someone with as much care and compassion you and poppop had. Having you be no longer in pain and agony is the best blessing in life, you can finally rest with your beloved parents and siblings. I love you so much even when you got on my nerves, with your blasting radio i wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. You have taught me so much about this world and its people, and i will continue to learn about just as you told me too. I love and will miss you so dearly please look over us all (especially poppop tho) and rest easy up in heaven.

Theresa, beloved Auntie to all of my children, was an amazing woman who will be dearly missed.  She was full of love for her family, friends, religion, and the children she helped raise. I hope heavens gates opened with all the light and joy welcoming her home.

Theresa was a dear family friend. I knew her when my family moved into the house next door from the Golden family when I was 4 and I basically grew up with her as my 2nd mom. 🙂 
She was incredibly giving, fiercely loyal to her friends, and just a wonderful person who cared for the neighbor kids like they were her own. Thank you Theresa for all you did for my family and me all those years ago.

Theresa or Auntie that my son called her. Was the best babysitter. She loved all her kids. She helped me to teach potty training, learning his colors and shapes, swimming, dancing, etc.  She  will be greatly missed.  My condolences to family 🙏💖. JoLynn Carter

Theresa was one of the best babysitters .  She was loved by our family and will be missed.  Praying God will bring comfort to all the family.
