Born in New York on October 29, 1949, Theresa Ann Curran was the daughter of Francis and Rose Curran and one of seven children, alongside Thomas, Richard, Mary, Alice, Bridey and Fran. She is now reunited in heaven with her parents and siblings, who were there to welcome her home.
Theresa married her best friend and the love of her life, Arnold Golden. This New Year’s Eve would have marked their 59th wedding anniversary. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised six children: Bill Golden, Elizabeth Brassart, Bridey Golden Sinha, Diane Golden Fife, Arlene Golden, and Joseph Golden. Her love extended even further to her ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
Theresa was deeply devoted to her faith. She had a heart for children and owned and operated a successful daycare for over 30 years, where she cared for countless little ones as if they were her own. A lover of music and dancing with a vibrant spirit, Theresa never met a stranger—she welcomed everyone with warmth, kindness, and her unforgettable smile and humor.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her, and her spirit will continue to shine through her family for generations to come.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel from 6-8:00 pm, with a prayer service starting at 6:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial will take place at St Mary of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the National Memorial Cemetery at Quantico.
