Words of encouragement to the family: death is a path to eternity. We will see him when we get there one day. Tomas Enrique lives in our hearts never forgotten, always remembered. May he rest in peace.

Thomas E. Alleyne
August 7, 2025, I was informed that my dear friend had gone home to glory

Thomas was a dedicated member of the Military Police, serving with honor in Okinawa, Japan. His bravery, commitment, and compassion were evident to all who knew him.

Thomas and I shared a unique bond, not just as fellow Marine Corps members, but as friends who were often mistaken for brothers. My name is Josephus Alleyne Though Thomas was of Panamanian descent and I was from Brooklyn, New York, we both entered the Marine Corps through Brooklyn, forming a special connection that went beyond words. We affectionately called each other “Challenge” as a nod to our enduring friendship.

We first met in Okinawa and later crossed paths again in Barstow, California. Thomas loved playing dominoes and bid whist, and he was a fierce player. He had a unique method of showing his understanding of the game, often by slammed the table when he laid his cards down, adding an extra layer of excitement to every game. after our service years, we lost contact until the year 2021 my cousin who lives in Virginia was asked by this stranger if he could use her phone to make a phone call she noticed on his ID his name was Alleyne so before she allowed him to use her phone, she called me and asked me if I knew a Thomas Alleyne I was overjoyed to shout to her yes and from that point on we gave each other’s a shout of joy and admiration to have been brought back in contact and we text and called from 2021 until 2025. My brother will surely be.missed

Estoy contigo, hoy y siempre.
Te quiero!

My sincere condolences to my uncle's wife and to my cousins.
I know you all are never going to heal from his loss, but I trust God everyone will learn to live without ĥim physically as his presence will be forever in our hearts.

(Griselda daughter)

Today I received the news about the passing of
my friend, Tomas Enrique Alleyne. I worked alongside him for more than 10 years serving at the DLA Police, Ft. Belvoir Virginia. Alleyne and I worked the night shift for many years with him and I saw him as tough as nails because he was a hard charging Marine. But I also knew the other side of this tough guy that I found to know about him. He had great compassion and the upmost respect for senior citizens and people with disabilities . Alleyne was a good gentleman and he will be greatly missed. Thank you for your service and take your rest my brother until we meet again.🇺🇸🙏🏻
